On Michaelangelo's Footsteps
Few artists have managed to leave such a deep and lasting mark in the history of art as the one left by Michelangelo Buonarroti. The itinerary that we propose aims to retrace part of the life of the great master and to get to know Michelangelo's works found in Florence. To do this we will visit three different places where we can admire many of his works and discover the great Florentine genius: the house, the works of youth and those of maturity.

Medici's Places
The Medici family had an important role in the history of Florence, leaving an indelible mark on the city's cultural and artistic life. This guided experience will unveil the history of the powerful family that ruled Florence for many centuries. The tour will start right from Palazzo Medici-Riccardi, home of the first Medici and prototype of Florentine noble residences until reaching in Piazza della Signoria, the center of Florentine political life, where the visit of Palazzo Vecchio is planned, born as the Town Hall, but transformed during the sixteenth century into a Medici residence.

The Duomo Walk:

Walk the streets of Florence to discover the most important monuments and the most fascinating views of Florence, where the greatest minds and artists have stood and been inspired: the Baptistery with its ‘Doors of Paradise’, Giotto’s Bell Tower, Brunelleschi’s Dome, the Opera del Duomo Museum and the ancient basilica of Santa Reparata. You’ll hear all the ‘hot gossip’ about Brunelleschi and even more astounding things that shocked the Florentines. Siena Discovery

Today, we can still admire these artistic and architectural wonders and much more. The main square, Piazza del Campo, is the natural centre of the city. Its shell-shaped heart made of bricks is like a warm carpet of "burnt Siena" color. From here, we continue walking to the top of the hill where the majestic Cathedral stands, unfolding its exceptional works of art, among which we find masterpieces of Michelangelo and Donatello.
